How many ours is typical for boat? When do you expect to start have MAJOR trouble?

I think you mean "hours" correct? I don't think there's a typical-per se. I see boats for sale, from wanna-be-landlocked-owners with less than 100 hours on them over several years. I can put 100 hours on mine in a matter of months. It depends on your location to the water and your willingness to buy fuel these days. 2nd part of the question, is "never." Regular-routine maint schedule, doing the little things, and I expect to put 1000s on that 350. Wishful thinking is the other half of the battle.... Good luck.

This site is for our benefit.
This boat is ours.
This house is ours.
This truck is ours.
This computer is ours.
This didn't even take an hour to type and I had no major problems thinking of it all by myself.

I put 1800 on mine and I have only changed the starter and alternator along with other scheduled maintnance. I can count on that boat every time to start and I am not forcasting any problmes in the future.
