Hi all,
I am looking for a good older slalom boat. Does anyone know how the wake is on an old 2001 Nauty?

Not sure bout the 2001 Nauty for slalom, I hear that makes a great wake for wakeboarding. Id maybe look at an older prostar or something along those lines, if your looking to slalom ski.

(Message edited by mjfan23 on July 25, 2006)

That's true. My 1989 2001 is great for wakeboarding but for short line slalom the wake is hard and you get a lot of spray off of the boat. The wake gets better on the 90 model and really improves about 95.

Check out the early 90's MCs and early 90's Supra Comps... These boats have money slalom wakes!

Get an 84 or 85 mastercraft. I don't ski but my dad has for years. Great slalom wake, fiberglass stringers, better seating in the front, plus the stars and stripes is probably the best graphic scheme ever. My dad sold his a couple of years ago.
