iTunes help needed: I am about to lose it
 

I need some iTunes help.

I hate this program as it is but I just can't take this problem anymore.

Here is my issue:

I have completely removed my entire library and reloaded it multiple times. For some reason iTunes keeps creating a folder called Music, within my iTunes>iTunes Music folder and keeps storing all of my songs in that folder instead of the main directory.

It's keeping album art in that main directory.

Any ideas/suggestions? I've just dealt with this problem for months now but when I d/l songs and then try to find them to import into iTunes it becomes tedious.

My buddy who is an Apple phanboy and pro mac user can't figure it out.

My last resort is to copy all of the music folders and cut them into my C:\Users\Justin\Music location, then uninstall iTunes and just try to install it fresh. Maybe that will work.

wait, do you have a problem with songs copying over to a new folder in itunes creating duplicates? cause if so, there's a checkbox in the preferences that you can click to make it not do that...

I think you need to elaborate on what the problem is. Because iitunes has the option to copy the song into its own music file thing so you can delete the original file.

I know this doesn't sound like help, but trust me.. I'm doing you a favor...


Dump iTunes.
