I made it to the other wake three times on saturday...didnt quite land them though. It felt great to finally get the distance and the flow of edging in and popping up. the first 2 i nose dived/face planted on the landing, the 3rd one I kept the nose high enough on the landing but fell back on the landing as the board shot forward, I was in the flat on this one, had good distance with about 4 feet of air.

was using a cheap hydroslide board with some nice ho/hyperlite bindings that i added, the bindings made a huge difference, rope @ 60ft and really choppy waters. i need a better board for our rough waters here. bayliner 175.

I think next weekend I'll get the landing down and maybe try to throw in a grab and work on height...hope the weather holds up, that opehilia seems to just be hovering.
When we put the boat in the water on saturday they had it forcasted to make landfall right on us, but by the time we took the boat out they predicted it to head more north. i think we're in the clear.
Sweet. I am having troubles getting across both wakes. I figure that I am just doing it wrong. I am pretty sure that my progressive edge needs work. Are you running any weight on your bayliner? My bud has a 180 Sea Ray that I board behind and it is pretty tough to keep on speed and the wake tuned up right.

Congrats. Just curious, at what speed are you wakeboarding?

wife claims to keep the speedo between 20-25...she doesnt watch the rpms.

only weight we ever have is wife, baby, teenage daughter and 1-2 of her friends and a cooler. wake is nothing special but decent for our needs right now. gotta work with what i got.
