What am I doing wrong??
What am I doing wrong or what can I work on?? I didn't hit it very hard, trying to get my basics back. Boards not level? Not making it across? 21 mph, 2-sections off 80', SSV 70% filled? Thanks Jet

looks good, just edge harder

Load the line a little more, meaning have as much line tension as possible when you hit the top of the wake. Maybe carry a little more speed but as that line tension is released at the top push off hard with your legs by standing tall.

LOL....the phrase that pays "Just edge harder!"

I agree with everything everybody above has said. Just need a bit more gusto coming into the wake. You're standing up at the wake and keeping the rope in well, just need some more speed. Maybe try upping speed on the boat to 22 or 22.5 if your comfortable with it. That'll make the wake a bit more firm, narrow it out a foot or two potentially, and allow you to get more speed when you cut in.

I've been having the same issue here.. A friend of mine who rips told me to take the line down to 60' and don't look down, look at the horizon otherwise you look down and thats where you're headed...

I agree with the masses here.... One little trick I've found works great when people need to clear the wake/go bigger is to try and get your butt closer to the water when you edge in. Sit back on the rope, edge hard...and just think of your butt touching the water...you'll gain a ton of speed, which imo is all you need. The pop is there, your just not traveling across the wake once you get up.

I watched the video. In my opinion, your speed/line length formula is off. Yeah you could have edged harder to make it happen, but the wake looked pretty wide to me. I'd bump up the speed a little, or shorten the line if the faster speed is not comfortbable for you.

Yep 70 ft looks like your wake is better there edge harder. Look where your going not down which is hard to do.
