Penn from 1-3 in LW, WW and MW, imo.

I am with Dtw pretty much.

As far as Penn, on his youth for sure he was a top 1-3 in two divisions. The problem we all knows is how dedicated he is to his training and how bad he wants the fights. Skills-wise he can hang with the big dogs, but cardio-wise he struggles as well as his game plan usually. He is 1-5 in last 6 fights, but all at he highest level. If he could get back to his ground roots and not just rely on his boxing, he could get back. Also if he worked on new clinch/kickboxing skills, that would mix his game up. He is like many others like Hughes, Mir, Koscheck, Griffin, that have just not evolved much and are pretty predictable. A big win against Rory (which is a huge task) could put his name right back in the mix. The problem is, Rory is a beast in the ring. He is basically a younger, faster GSP already. I am not saying he is better than GSP yet, but he possesses mad skills already. He is not a guy to play around with on the feet or ground. Plus having GSP in your corner to training for this fight gives him a serious leg up. Right now Penn is +240 on the sports book which shows him to be a big underdog.

I met John Bones Jones lil bro on my way to vegas in May. He was the first round pick to play DE for the patriots this year. Super cool down to earth guy. Signed the Southwest drink menu for me.
