Replacement Battery Options

I've seen allot of battery replacement threads, I just can't really find the answer I'm looking for. I am looking to replace the two factory battery's in my 2004 SANTE 210. It has two Interstate Workhorse battery's right now. I will be upgrading the system in the future, but I will rarely, if ever, be playing the system with the engine off. I will manly be blasting the system while riding. What will be good battery's to upgrade with?

If you plan on going with some higher draw amplifiers in the future, look into a set of Kinetik 2000's, or some XS battery D5100's.

Optima is a decent choice also, but for the price, there are better alternatives.

I looked at the XS and the Kinetic batteries you recommended. Will they be fine with cranking and normal use? O have looked at the Optima's at Sam's club, they have two different blue tops that run $155. How would the yellow tops hold up?

I have been running 5 yellow tops in my boat for 2 seasons without issue. The reason I'm replacing them is because I have upped my system's wattage, and I dont think they will keep up. I have had good luck with the optimas, but others might not agree.

West Marine resells deka seamates under their own name. Spec- wise they are superior to optimas. Not sure if they are still on sale, but it's worth a look.

I have 3 Deka group 31 batteries.

North Star,I have try them all. I run a NSB G-3100 for the stereo (3800 watts) & a NSB G-2700 for the boat. To make life simple I went with an on board battery charger. We get home plug it in, done.
