I've been to the Supra website searching for info on the 20SSV, but it only has one picture and the specs. Anybody have any additional info/pics or been in or around this boat?

I am a Supra dealer but if I were to buy a Supra tomorrow, it would be a 20 SSV. It fits my needs perfectly. I wakeskate about 60% of the time and wakeboard 40% all on a smaller lake. Its pretty much just a shrunk down version of the 22SSV. Price loaded with trailer, speakers, bimini, PP...all the essentials?

I took one out last weekend. It's a pretty sweet boat if you're in the 20' market. <BR> <BR>This boat had the 340 engine upgrade, bimini, pimped trailer (LED's, Polished wheels, etc, etc). <BR> <BR>I rode it with factory ballast, driver, observer and no gas. IMO the wake had a great shape and had some serious potential when loaded up. <BR> <BR>The drivability is awesome. Handles great and takes rough water well! <BR> <BR>The interior reminds of my 21V, but smaller and without the playpen, however, it's very roomy for a smaller boat. The exterior takes alot of styling cues from the 24SSV. <BR> <BR>All in all, it was a sick boat. With all the trailer upgrades, motor, bimini and a few other options, I think it was in the mid to upper 40's.

I have a 21' limit, typically have 5-10 people out with me with a wide range of riding ability. <BR> <BR>The 21V meets, and in most cases exceeds, my needs in a boat: <BR> <BR>1. Room/Storage for 21' boat: A+ <BR>2. Wake size (with stock ballast): B+ <BR>3. Wake shape (with stock ballast): A <BR>4. Wake adjustability: A+ <BR>5. Rough water ride: B+ <BR>6. I do with my 22SSV...the bow is very low...you have to be very careful on most ramps. Some ramps are almost impossible to get the boat back on.

Typically if the bow seems to low when you are putting the boat on the trailer, it is a sign that the trailer is too deep in the water. <BR> <BR>McFly

I guess you just have to get used to loading. I load a 22SSV on a trailer 2-3 times a week and have no problems. You just have to have your trailer at the right place in the water. It also helps if you put most people in the back of the boat. It probably depends on the angle of the ramp also.

Marty, Thanks for speaking with me on the phone on Saturday regarding the 05 ssv that you have for sell and all the info regarding the new LSV.

rule of thumb at most ramps is to have the water just cresting the stainless steel fenders. Most ramps that works like butter everytime. So many people are scared to drive the boat on the bunks, but that is the key... I agree with Marty. Most people back their trailers too deep

The traielr coudl be in to low, it seems about right. I've never had an issue liek this on any other boat I've owned. Even the guy I bought it from mentioned it to me. Not a big deal to me , just something I noticed. I'll try pulling the trailer a little higher out of the water.

Adam are you floating the boat up to the boat buddy or is it resting on the bunks and you are throttling it up? <BR>

I put 3/4 of the back bunks in the water, the rest of the trailer is out of the water and we pull it up with no problem.

Very steep, short ramps (where the truck and trailer are at different angles) do not at all agree with getting a 22SSV on the trailer. Most ramps it's not an issue, if you've got the fenders a couple inches out of the water. The ramp I use most frequently is like that and I eventually had the trailer altered by about an inch so it wouldn't be a problem. <BR> <BR>And for the record I've been trailering boats since before I could drive a car. The bow on the SSV just has a huge downslope.

Here's the problem, the mechanic at the dealer where we bought our boat told us to sink the trailer 2-3 inches below the fenders. When I do that if I'm not real careful the boat will ride over the fender and bend it or warp the bumper. I have done that twice. It sounds like I'm putting the trailer too deep.

that sounds deep... especially with the incline on the two ramps at LSL.
