Are you looking for speakers you can hear while riding?
|
It all depends on how much money you have. If you give us a budget we can help you out a little more
|
yeah i deff. want to hear while im riding....money isnt an option really but i dont want to overdue it since i need to buy an amp as well.

To get something that you can hear while you're riding you'll be into the speakers minimum of $900. That's figuring one speaker pod from NVS or WetSounds or Skylon.

To get an idea, look at www.wakeside.com and look for tower speakers that are "Rated Pro-Audio Grade" by them. Any of the Pro-Audio gear you'll be happy with while riding.

Unfortunatly, if $900 is too much, then just get anything, because anything under the Pro-Audio gear you won't be able to hear very well behind the boat.

try these if $900.00 is on the high side.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Wakeboard-Tower-Speakers-complete-with-clamps-and-cable_W0QQitemZ7242196461QQcategoryZ15272QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem

Mike,

Craig was pretty close. A single of our PRO 485 is $849. But you can get a Pair of our PRO 80's for $849. If you have a new Tige. With the curved tower. I would recommend doing a pair of PRO 80 or If you really wanted to go all out, our "Threesome" has been very popular. Using a single PRO 485 in the center and a pair of PRO 80's on the outsides. Do a search on here and there are some pictures and reviews.

"Unfortunatly, if $900 is too much, then just get anything, because anything under the Pro-Audio gear you won't be able to hear very well behind the boat."

I disagree. You definitely don't need to spend $900 on speakers alone to hear them while riding. I get a good deal on some higher-end Pioneer 6 1/2s...put 6 of those little boogers up there with a big amp and I can hear it crystal clear. I made the box myself, probably spent a total of $250 and it's louder and more clear than a lot of stuff out there.

DANNY

(Message edited by wakerider42 on May 17, 2006)
