I ride a Hyperlite Gate from 04. I am thinking of getting either a 05 or 06 Karma. Yet i may get a Byerly. Anyone ride either. Haven' t been riding long and wanted to know if there was more pop with the Karma because of exaggerated kicktails. Or if the Byerly would be better

I know this doesn't exactly answer your question but I have one of my own. How did you like the gate as a skate? Would you be interested in selling it?

dude gates are harder to ride than a wood concave , i had a gate and i rode it for a year than i got an lf impulse, which is easyer to ride andheavier than a hyperlite skate, my suggestion is get a byerly or a LF skate

I just got the 05 catalyst its a great board, butter slide are unbelievabley easy and its just an all around great skate
