How do I adjust the timing on a computer controlled engine? I have a 2001 Mobius V, with a 320 hp, TBI, Indamar 350.

I had to remove the distributor. Before I did though, I marked everything. I got it back togther the right way. But when I try to adjust the timing, the computer takes over and puts it where it wants. The boat runs fine, but it starts rough.

Is there a sensor I need to disconnect when I'm adjusting the timing?

Thanks for any help, Joe

You have to ground the base timing wire, and then set it. Sorry but I don't know wire color.

Not in your manual? You jump the wire at the wiring harness, but like Trace, not sure which one...
