A buddy of mine is getting a good deal on 2 pair. Never heard them, Wetsounds on my mali and heard a few NVS's. Just wanted to know ya'lls opinions on them?

Unfortunately Fusion is no more. What you are seeing is a sell off of the remaining inventory. I will say though that they are the best sounding <10" speakers for the tower ever made..IMO. If you or someone opts to buy some just be extra carfull with the can finish. That was the only issue with them that I'm aware of.

I had Fusions on my Sanger. Nice sound but horrible finish.

I have a set and the finish on the cans suck.. they are totally pitted.. I just bought some KMT6s to replace them.. Id sell mine for 100 for the set if someone wants them as a project to redo the finish.. Sound really good though

Exactly Isaac! I thought they sounded great until I heard HCLD. Gahhh... Night and day difference.

Ok here's what I should have said, I think the Fusion combos were one of the best sounding Car Audio based tower speakers ever made. <BR>Hate, it's just an opinion! That's what is being asked for.

If you don't care to hear the music while boarding, the Fusions that are on ebay right now are super cheap and would be great for surfing or beach listening. <BR> <BR>On our last boat I had tower speakers, but I planned on not spending my money on any for the new boat for various reasons....however seeing how cheap the fusions are on ebay I might just have to pick up a pair for surfing.

The Fusions aren't even close to being the loudest but I love the sound quality.

Walt, what would you say are louder/cleaner?

I just picked up a pair of the T series LED combos from Ebay. They sound killer. $300 for those speakers is a sick deal! The Led lights are cool too! They are loud and sound clean.

He could do some of the Black ones if they match they still have a chrome bezel but it would mininmize the amount of chrome and likelyness of it pitting. <BR> <BR>Duane, now that makes a little more sense.

Isaac, <BR>IMO the Fusion's are very clean and loud enough for me. They sound great in and around the boat. I can hear them well enough while riding too. With that said Wetsounds or NVS's are WAY louder. I still prefer the sound quality of the Fusion's though.

If there's better non HCLD's I haven't heard them. That doesn't mean they don't exist though. Good question for grant,Clay,Mike or Chaz.

Where do get the speaker wire that match the male/female inputs on the speakers itself?

It doesn't take special wiring. It's normal ole terminals. Just strip some of the wire and screw down the terminals over it, unless you wanna use a banana plug, as it accepts those too. <BR> <BR>The hard part is the connection for the LED's, but your box should come w/ them.
