I'm looking into moving to the Durham, NC area. Can anyone give me some info on the wake scene? Mucho gracias.

Not sure of the "wake scene" but a few nice lakes in the area: Jordan, High Rock, Baden lake, Lake Gaston.

1.5 hrs from the beach, 3 hrs to the mtns.

The "wake scene" is pretty cool. In Durham your near Hyco Lake. Which is where I ride, It's the "Heated Lake", has a power plant on it.. there is also falls, Jordan,Kerr and Harris, close to Durham to. I work at Duke University and can be at Hyco in 30 min. Hit me up if you move down here and I can show you around Hyco. I've only been to the other lakes a few time so I don't know much about them.

We spend a lot of time on Belews, Northwest of Greensboro and Lake Norman when it warms up.

go to www.endofropegang.com

there are tons of people to ride with from that area that are on that site. You will probably hit falls and hyco. Falls lake will be the closest to you. There are a lot of wakeboarders on falls lake. Check out the site and say hello.

-Nate
