How I start
 

First runs of the season were great until!!!!! I was doing a slide when I cought the front of the board and did a face plant(an easy 8.5 thank you) when I came out of the coma I had one boot off and one on and the board was floating. The boot that was still on had a busted strap buckle and the one that was on actually ripped right off the board. Is this normal? defect? or has this happened to anyone? And on a side note I am starting to get the feeling back in my feet:cool:

forgot they are chaser air profile and a Hydroslide 142 I take it they cant be fixed and will make a nice paper weight now:eek:

You know what they say. "you can't teach an old dod new tricks" LOL

Just gives you a reason now to upgrade ur setup:)

you should be able to find a setup from last year on the cheap that will last and last in comparison

This kind of thing only happened to me when I was riding cheap setups. After doing it twice and ruining my day, I upgraded to pro level stuff and haven't looked back.

I can't believe those boots made it this long haha
