detonate69 08-18-2005 12:45 PM

Let me be the first to say that is absolutely awesome looking!

jeffreyala 08-18-2005 12:46 PM

Sweet setup!!!!!!!! Nice and clean.

acurtis_ttu 08-18-2005 1:14 PM

what are you running in your boat? do you have the stock alt? how many batteries?

taylormade 08-18-2005 1:18 PM

effin sweet.

chas 08-18-2005 1:29 PM

the boat has two 13w7s,four 10w7s,two NVS Addictions, four Memphis two way 8s,eight Memphis 6s, seven Memphis amps, three video screens, game port input for video source, six batts and two 18 fared caps. The stock alt is still in the boat for now. Also has LED lights through out the boat.

kybool 08-18-2005 1:33 PM

wow, 4 6.5" and a set of NVS's on the tower. That must sound ridiculous.

chas 08-18-2005 1:37 PM

those are eight inch two ways on the tower. The boat is just nutts.

airrantz 08-18-2005 2:38 PM

That poor li'l Alternator. Absolutely amazing install. If only you could get the gauges and transom remote with Blue LEDs.

chas 08-18-2005 3:27 PM

we are working on the gauges, hope to get then changed to match.

mikeski 08-18-2005 3:48 PM

Looks great.

Can you even hear the 6.5s next to the NVSs? Kind of like putting a garden hose next to a fire hose isn't it?

jwag 08-18-2005 4:12 PM

Looks sweet Take some more pics. Where are the 10's hiding? And the screens. Show off the bling!

chas 08-18-2005 4:54 PM

some of these were posted already

twitch 08-18-2005 5:07 PM

The LED's under the swim platform are just sick

id love to see that on the water at night

chas 08-18-2005 5:26 PM

were taking it up to Pedro this week-end so we can check it out. Can't wait to see it in the clear water.

wkerat 08-23-2005 3:15 PM

what kind of box is that on the tower or did you make it yourself?

chris_hargis 08-23-2005 7:04 PM

Ok, I have to ask.....When you mount the lights under the platform, how do you get the wires there? Do you drill a hole in the boat for them to pass through? I thought about that for a fleeting moment, then I just couldn't see drilling a hole back there for the wires and thought it would look sloppy to run them down the transom.

poser007 08-23-2005 7:10 PM

Just curious what all that ran ya?

chas 08-23-2005 7:47 PM

Wkerat;
We custom made the box to fit the tower and hold the screen.

Chris;
Give me a call at the shop and i can help you out with the install. (209)466-8863

Daniel;

Way too much, lots of the moneys were in labor alone.

grant_west 08-23-2005 7:53 PM

ICharles: Nice install. Im sure that things rock's
I hope you put a RCA Input and Output in that so we can link our systems,

Daniel: FYI That system costs more than some new boat's and well worth it.

chas 08-23-2005 7:56 PM

Any time Grant, we will have to hook up and show every one what its all about.

By the way, how the shop going?

hymaeringo 08-24-2005 9:21 AM

lol I'd laugh my ass off when the bow gets dunked and the tv shorts out. very very very pimp otherwise! plus with all those subs you prolly don't need additional ballast.

(Message edited by hymaeringo on August 24, 2005)

lenmann 08-24-2005 8:06 PM

Charles; Nice install. Any chance you can share some more detail on the Memphis amps? IE what size/model is pushing which speakers?

BTW How did she sound?

blake_hughes 08-24-2005 8:16 PM

Whoa! Nice intsall, looks really good.

-Blake

chas 08-24-2005 8:35 PM

lenmann

There are two 16-MCD1500 to the 13s
one 16-MCD1000 to each pair of 10s
16-MCA3004 to the 6inch in the boat
16-MCA300 to the NVS
16-MCA300 to the four 8inch in the tower

the boat rocks, we are very happy with the sound this thing puts out. The bass and highs are balanced really well. The best part is you can hear the subs inside and out side the boat.
twitch 08-24-2005 8:44 PM

wheres the pics from this weekend?

(Message edited by twitch on August 24, 2005)

ktmwakeboarder 08-24-2005 9:14 PM

haha, I'd hope you can hear the subs both inside and out of the boat, that's a huge amount of slap in there!

chas 08-24-2005 9:50 PM

Blair,

I am waiting for Tony to send them to me and will post them as soon as I get them.

Kevin,

This thing really pounds, we have done a lot of boats and this thing is just unreal. Some of the boats we do will just rock and have tons of bass but it just does not carry out side of the boat well. No matter where you are around this thing it sounds good.

ktmwakeboarder 08-25-2005 12:28 AM

Believe me I wasn't doubting it for a second! I just thought it was a funny comment, but it is true about having audible bass outside the boat being difficult to achieve. Very impressive, I love it.

chas 08-26-2005 12:40 PM

Ringo

We have taken water over the bow, the screen is back far enough that it doesnt get wet. Also have a cover made to help protect it

chas 08-26-2005 2:40 PM

couple of pics from the lake, one is kind of blury.

twitch 08-26-2005 3:57 PM

that is KILLER!!!!

i know what i want to do to my boat when i get one... LED's every where....

heres te stupid question of the day... how does the water affect the ones under teh platform?

chas 08-26-2005 4:06 PM

they are water proof housing so it does not hurt them. With people in the boat they rest under water and put off a cool looking glow.

madchild1 08-26-2005 6:24 PM

those leds would be awesome for nighttime jungle cruises!

(Message edited by madchild1 on August 26, 2005)

boardcrazy 09-06-2005 5:26 PM

where did you get the waterproof lights that you put under the platform?

chas 09-06-2005 6:35 PM

Kenny

We sell them at our store, give us a call and we can get some info for ya.

tparider 09-06-2005 7:12 PM

how are the under platfrom lights installed? Easy? hard? DIY no problem fo the amateur?

sanger215guy 09-06-2005 8:14 PM

Chas;

absolutly speachless, you have steped up the game and the lights are off the hook. Look forward to seeing some more installs and get that 210 glowing.

chas 09-06-2005 8:19 PM

Gary

The 210 is getting ready to get tore into, just could not find time with the weather being so nice. I have some big plans for her, but it will take some long hours.

David
the lights are not that bad to install, just takes alot of time.

superair 09-07-2005 4:38 AM

What did you do for the tower lights, I know it is plexyglass, but how many and what types of led are you using. Are they the small surface mounted or just regular round ones? How many per ring, are the ends of the rings frosted or clear??

later

zboomer 09-07-2005 6:12 AM

Wonder what kind of marine life those lights under the platform would attract at night? Hmmmm. Chomp!

bigasswake 10-12-2005 11:05 PM
