Check out the description on this dude's ad. "strictly used for wakesurfing" HAHAHA I think he's for real though, check out the pics! Notice anything? <a href="http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/boa/457194107.html" target="_blank">http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/boa/457194107.html</a>

Not sure I would feel OK surfing behind an I/O. <BR> <BR>Why are you looking at boats still Adam, you gotta start looking to put your poppy seed through colledge.

lovin_the_wake 10-25-2007 6:41 AM

Yeah can you say major head trauma that's almost as bad as using your i/o for teak surfing lol <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0>

surf22 10-25-2007 6:44 AM

lol only a real idiot would surf behind an I/O, you should ask why he's selling it, maybe due to a wakesurfing injury? lol. if you have never seen this before... <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.howtowakesurf.com/f_up_hand.jsp" target="_blank">http://www.howtowakesurf.com/f_up_hand.jsp</a> <BR> <BR>that even came from this forum. <BR> <BR>btw...what are we supposed to "notice"?

txadam 10-25-2007 6:46 AM

Nah Chris, not really looking, especially at an I/O. Just bored browsin around this morning. Wish we could play hooky &amp; go ride! <BR> <BR>Notice something in the pics. I thought at first this dude had no idea what he was talking about, but then I noticed he actually has an LF surfer in the boat? Moron! I wish I could have seen this dude out on Canyon. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by txadam on October 25, 2007)

lmao yeah i saw the board in there too, i wonder if he really surfed, or if he just held on to a short wakeboard rope 10ft behind the boat and told people he surfed.

wakeboardnut 10-25-2007 7:34 AM

your supposed to notice that its an I/O i assume. <BR> <BR>and im sure he just confused wakesurfing with wakeboarding <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0>

Isn't Canyon lake in Ca. and he lives in San Anton. That must be a long drive.

rson 10-25-2007 8:08 AM

There is a canyon lake in San An. also.

atloutbackv 10-25-2007 8:10 AM

wow i wonder if he is selling due to the loss of a limb..?

mikea 10-25-2007 8:46 AM

what i noticed was <BR>"this boat was strictly for wakesurfing" <BR>and there is a wakeboard? <BR>why?

mars 10-25-2007 8:56 AM

actually there is a liquid force surfer on the port side under the gunnel. <BR> <BR>I'm sure like so many others they realized the boat they bought is suboptimal for wakesports.

txadam 10-25-2007 8:56 AM

Guys, you're supposed to notice that there's actually a Liquid Force wakesurf board in the boat. <BR> <BR>Apparently the guy really tried to surf behind that thing, yikes! Unless he was just using the surfboard on a long rope.

etakk7 10-25-2007 9:05 AM

i can't imagine this boat could put up a wakesurf capable wake anyway. No room for sacs anywhere in the back. Anybody going to email him and post his response here?

malibuboarder75 10-25-2007 9:14 AM

Erik, more like 'i can't imagine a 190hp I/O being able to get up to speed with the amount of weight required to surf'

surf22 10-25-2007 10:29 AM

lol yeah theres no way. before i bought my supra (before i was really into watersports as more than just playing around on some type of board), i had a really nice 17' gastron i/o. i sold it this spring when i bought my supra, but last year when i finally decided it was time for me to take wakeboarding more seriously, we had put a 660# on the floor in the back, and i swear to you i had to go full throttle and then walk myself up into the bow to get it to plane out (it only had a 135hp engine). but we did learn our backrolls behind it sans tower...it was so much easier this year behind the supra lol.

murphy_smith 10-25-2007 10:47 AM

I think we should email and ask him some standard questions about the boat...In fact I will and I'll post his response <BR> <BR>How is the wake for wakesurfing? <BR>How much additional weight do you need to put in the boat to wake surf? <BR>Has the prop ever gotten in the way of a wakesurfer?

murphy_smith 10-25-2007 11:19 AM

Here was his response. <BR> <BR>I use it for wakeboarding so can't say about wakesurfing. <BR>call if still interested. 512.736.6100 <BR> <BR>Maybe be got the terms wakeboarding and wakesurfing confused...nice guy though

surf22 10-25-2007 11:43 AM

he has a surfboard on the boat! lol, good luck sellin it, at least those tahoes are nice boats for i/o's.

dh03r6 10-25-2007 11:48 AM

does he have any more pics? i dont think i got a good enough look at it.

etakk7 10-25-2007 2:40 PM

"Has the prop ever gotten in the way of a wakesurfer?" <BR> <BR>Great question<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0>

poser007 10-25-2007 4:43 PM

That photo of the guy with the hand in the prop always makes me cringe

sinkoumn 10-25-2007 7:12 PM
