I found an 07 Watson board on craigs list for a pretty rediculous price. Only bad thing is that on one end the top layer is splitting from the bottom. He sent me a pic so I can see the damage, he said the local snowboard/ wakeboard shop could fix it for about $30. Is it a possible thing to fix I would like to get it because it would make a great back up board for friends who don't have a board. What do you guys think?

It depends on the damage. I have had great success repairing edge chips on the bottom of several of my crew's boards using epoxy putty. But when a board starts to de-laminate it can be hard to stop.

Be careful taking someone's word for a repair estimate from the shop. You might want to call them and validate the quote if you want to go that way.

Good luck - I hope it works out for you

I wish I could get the pic on here but my laptop is acting up. Looks kind of like the could just epoxy the end. Nots sure though. I am gonna give them a call and try and take the pic in when they open. I guess if it is unfixable it will make a nice wall decoration or bench.
