I have seen a few "Camo" boats boats around... whether they are wraps or in the Gelcoat and i got to thinking...

Here is my deal, I will probably be keeping my boat (versus buying a new one) since i am looking at upgrading houses in the next few months. I know, i know my priorities are all screwed up. So with that said i want to update/change the looks of my boat. So i am thinking of getting the tower reworked for more of a streamlined look and maybe wrapping the boat. If i wrap the boat i would want to stay with the colors on the pics simply becase boat fenders, docks, etc may tear up the wrap and the color underneath would fill in any tears in the wrap. The boat is a 95 Sport and the mechanicals and interior are in perfect shape. I am an amatuer at best with Photoshop but here are a couple of pix. I am open to suggestions from all you Photoshop pro's out there... Also, anyone have ideas as to what a wrap would cost? Gotta see if it fits in the budget.

(Message edited by biz on February 02, 2006)

(Message edited by biz on February 02, 2006)

I'd go with a complete camo, like the Bu or the Epic seen here, just my two cents

Call up your dealer and see if you can get the limited edition camo wrap as seen in the LA boat show pictures. There were two Team 210s with a camo wrap and 220 Super Air logos. It might be possible to get the wrap for your hull even though the top deck has changed.

More or less full camo... seems kinda busy.

Sweep that design down from the front to the back with a nice graceful curve like the stripe on a newer 210. That would look good. Also, your camp print is a little big...if it were something like the new digi-camo that would be cool.
The first pic was the right idea. Not too busy, works well with the boat shape. My 2.

go to a local sign printer - steer clear of the factory/dealer if you want to keep the price real. i've seen the billabong camo boat and the new factory camo versions - they are bad a$$. both versions are vinyl graphics, not in the gel coat.

I vote for the vinyl as well. All the "Good ol Boys" here in central Fla do that with their trucks. As long as you dont go overboard, it will look great.
