Oneill Boost Drysuit sizing help.
Looking at getting one of these bad boys and I need some help selecting a size.
Stats 5'9" 175 Lbs 33" Waist 40" chest Long torso Short legs Athletic build Thinking either med or large but in the charts I am right in the middle. Thanks for the insight. Mac |
Always go bigger. It's easier to adjust to one that's too big than too small.
|
I agree with Chris, I'm 5'10" ~170 and I have an XL. Works great for me and it's big enough I can let other bigger people use it.

I'm 5'8" and 170 and have a medium and it fits great with plenty of extra room. I've worn the large as well and it was really big and baggy on me.
|
im 6 foot 1. around 190. and i have a large, and it fits me great. ive had people as short as 5 foot 5 and weighing 130 wear it, up to 5 foot 10 weighing 250.
ive been the tallest in it. but i still have more room for height in it. |
im 6 foot 1 and like 130 to 140 lbs and i where a large.
|
I'd go with a XL. You don't want it to tight !
|
Large should be fine.
|
I am almost the exact same build as you and wear a medium. It's plenty big I would be swimming in a large. The Boosts seem to run a bit big...........
|
Looks like we're all really no help. I'm 6'0 160 and rock a large. Personally I'd rather size up than down.

Wow!!
Med, lrg, and XL recommendations. I'm stumped. Really, Im just worried about the drysuit giving me a crannie with my longer torso. I am leaning towards the med. |
