What is the best way to weight down an '06 B52? We fill the stock, plus one 450 bag in the nose, and one 350 in the middle. Still not dialed in yet, it washes out to easy.

22 or 23? Triple up (stock front ballast) or no?

Ah, nevermind, you answered the first question.

its the 2 800s on each side

sorry I don't have any real life input here but I'll see if I can't ask a couple guys have similar boats. Off the top of my head though I'd say add a 400# in the front and then if you still need more maybe another 250 in the back on each side, that should be a pretty mean wake. In the mean time bump.

I dial in my '04 B52v3 Team Edition filling front ballast 1/2 way (250lbs) and going 3/4 on drivers side (600 lbs) and full on passenger side at (800 lbs). Then it is a matter of positioning the people to keep that ratio consistent as possible. I've notice that with a full tank it washes out a bit more.

HTH

How fast do you pull w/ that weight?

rooter 05-14-2008 1:17 PM

22-25mph

domin8 05-14-2008 10:44 PM

B52 V3 = 25 mph at 80 ft
Full stock (500 front & 800 each side back) 2100lbs with six plus people.
2-5 people add two 400lb sacks (800 lbs) - one in the bow walk through and one on the center rear seat.
Passengers may need to help with their location to clean up both sides
