Stomped amazing how can a 10 look that easy

pierem 05-10-2009 4:23 AM

I'm wondering who will land the first 10 W2W ....

xistential 05-10-2009 5:19 AM

He lands them on a regular basis. Couple of weeks back he landed 3. One midweek and 2 on the Saturday.

vlxwakeboarder 05-10-2009 9:58 AM

Bryan Hutton will likely get the first w2w 10.

05-10-2009 8:04 PM

that was one of the most stylish looking 1080s ive seen so far

waketherainbow 05-10-2009 8:23 PM

I agree Ben, doesn't really look hucked at all

jarrod 05-10-2009 8:35 PM

Hutton has a good change. I watched him stomp out some 9s just this morning, like they were nothing.

extremeisaac 05-10-2009 8:39 PM

back to back 9s after back to back 7s wasnt it?? OMG!! it was insane!!

mckenna 05-10-2009 9:05 PM

lets see rathy thrown down a 10 in comp.

norbiv 05-11-2009 10:26 AM

I had been shooting some freeridin with Rathy Nicola and Harley lately and they all killit!
All I can say is that there will be some surprises this season;)

waketherainbow 05-11-2009 12:23 PM

I am looking forward to your rathy segment norbi, Harley's was a good watch!

norbiv 05-11-2009 1:17 PM

andy_nintzel 05-11-2009 2:00 PM

omg that was clean. He makes it look easy.

justinh 05-11-2009 2:06 PM

Built like Rusty, training with Soven and a style all his own

Rathy is a beast.

norbiv 05-11-2009 3:40 PM

Word!

kaesen 05-11-2009 5:46 PM

and another heel side one today... i believe thats 14 total or something. haha

captain_vilfo 05-11-2009 6:00 PM

I've completely lost track of what 1080's have been landed and by who.

I'm guessing that was a regular 1080 not switch?

Whatever 1260's and triple flips are the new 1080's and double flips!

jarrod 05-12-2009 4:49 PM

so who's more consistent with the 10? Rusty or Rathy?

Sounds like Rathy

norbiv 05-12-2009 4:51 PM

Yeah Rathy fosho! and he shredz with way more steez 2 !

wake77 05-12-2009 7:51 PM

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't that a switch heel? I'm pretty sure that Rathy rides regular. If this is the case, still no non-switch heel 10 landed.

cakeeater 05-12-2009 8:25 PM

Yah its kind of weird but it seems alot of pros spin better switch.. I doubt anyone has ever even tried regular heel 10's.

sidekicknicholas 05-12-2009 9:41 PM

I spin faster switch for sure... but it isn't always in control

norbiv 05-13-2009 11:00 AM

Yeah switch heelside is alot easier for me 2.
I think the reason behind it is that most riders are right handed and spinning regular backside (or blind) and switch heelside (or cab) is alot easier cuz u make all the handlepasses with ur right hand.

morgs 05-13-2009 12:17 PM

That would make sense for wakeboarding but what about snowboarding? Tons of guys spin much better switch snowboarding also...

norbiv 05-13-2009 12:40 PM

idk about snowboarding but it might be cuz If u spin cab for example when ur done with ur first 180 ur just flying through the air in regular stance and u just get more control since u see more stuff easier ?

behindtheboat 05-13-2009 12:52 PM

More bad habits with regular spinning? with switch, it's all back to basics and more thought/technicalities goes into it

romes 05-13-2009 1:08 PM

i ride goofy and i naturally spin backside. i can't get my mind around spinning regular heelside/toeside.

i agree w/ adub that when hitting the wake switch i focus only on my basics.
