I have two 440s currently to be rigged up on each side of the engine. should i go with more weight? what weight does everyone use? the ski locker will also be set up for ballast too. what size of bag should go in there?

thanks

I just got a 97 vlx and plan to go with 750 fly high on each side of motor, 500 in the ski locker and 1000 triangle in the bow. I don't know if I'll fill the 750's all the way but for wake surfing it will be bustin at the seams. I am also curious about the best set up. I plan to put everything on tsunomi 800's with a scoop.

Here's my old setup in my 98 sunsetter vlx...we had a 750 on each side of the motor....a twin air mattress filled in the ski locker..then another 500 up front with a little lead spread around as well. It prolly could have used some more weight up front because it was washy at times. The 750's will fill up but be careful cause it will bow your engine wall . Here is a pic of the 750 filled.

My engine wall plates are made of carpeted 1/2" ply wood, I don't think that is stock but a very good swap. They don't bend much.
