my sons first time wakeboarding
 

went out on friday after the 4th of july and my son tried wakeboarding for the first time. He is 8. he was able to get up on about his 4th try. here is a video. his last time to ride he was already starting to cut back and forth between the inside of the wakes. SO crazy how fast they pick things up.

and with some help from a buddy, he was also able to get up on a 4'6" skim board and ride for a short time. needs a smaller surf board

Awesome. I bet he's hooked.

I remember those days. Good times for sure. Try to get as much on video as you can. Your kids will appreciate it a lot when theyre older. My kids have LOVED watching their own progression over the years plus it's fun for me to watch too. Just wait until that first invert. Before you know it, they'll be saying that your old butt can't keep up with them. Circle of life thing...
