Metal flake-Bass Boat style is sic ! Just mount some rod holders and your dual purpose ! Seriously however that is a sweet boat.

I like the metal flake, but personally would haev left the red x-star off the side. But luv the boat and the originality!

Actually, I have several different sets of graphics for the boat. At first the red Xstar was black. It looked nice up close, but kind of got lost from far away. I may go back to black with the silver outline. Its the official bass boat of the X games.

My buddy has an '05 with the same silver metal flake and black trim. I like your graphics a lot, beautiful boat.

you need to add a trolling motor to your boat if you want it to be a true "bassstar". all the cool wakeboarding boats have trolling motors on them (see profile)

Boat is awesome. If I could make a suggestion - loose the all red X-Star in the center and put on a white "MasterCraft" decal towards the front - like this year's PWT Towboat. That would like insane!!! Nice boat.

you can't tell from this pic, but that red x-star is what <i>really</i> sets this boat off. I think it would look kind of plain and you wouldn't pay much attention to it on the water w/out it. I never saw it with the other graphics...but it looks absolutely sick on the water like this.

Why don't more companies offer the metal flake option? I would have definately opted for that on my VLX.

Is it an upgrade option as far as price? I would imagaine the manufaturing of metal flake is more costly.

I can't remember how much extra it was, but it was more expensive. I think $1,200 - 1,500. We are going to get metal flake again on the '07. By the way (just bragging here), the little blond in boat is the Ky. INT state champion and is headed to Bakersfield Ca. for the US Championships.
