It had snowed twice before OCtober 16th this year... and now, 1 month later its in the 60's
sucks because its borderline warm enough to ride but I don't know anyone with a boat still ready to do.... oh well, just had to vent

EL NINO!!!!!

chaser 11-09-2009 11:14 AM

I hear you. Water would be a bit chilly now. I heard there is a crew in Madison still riding. I know you aren't far from there. Is the 2.0 system by you still open?

jeff_mn 11-09-2009 11:17 AM

We rode in Minneapolis on Saturday.

Water was 39. Too cold for a single wet suit. Ask me how I know.

jmuthafnp 11-09-2009 11:34 AM

We're fighting the same battle down here. I feel your pain Nick.

eubanks01 11-09-2009 11:39 AM

I was thinking the same thing. Boat has been sleeping for over 6 weeks, so I played golf instead. Not as fun, but still nice to enjoy the weather. Damn you MN!!!

hawkeye7708 11-09-2009 12:27 PM

We just winterized the boat we ride with down here in La Crosse, and now it's over 60. What a pile.

ironj32 11-09-2009 12:30 PM

dirwoody 11-09-2009 1:00 PM

flydenrict 11-09-2009 1:25 PM

This past weekend was awesome in Minneapolis, didnt' ride cause i dont have my boat in still plus we have got a TON of rain (and some snow) through oct so I bet the lake would be chilly

96formula 11-09-2009 1:25 PM

We trunked it yesterday at Lake Pleasant in AZ. I love this time of year, no meat heads on the water.

jeff_mn 11-09-2009 2:54 PM

Where did you ride Jay? We rode Fish in Maple Grove. There were 2 docks left on the lake so we launched from there.
