Any canadians here bought a boat from the states?
i'm wondering what duties to pay and the taxing
when trying to get it across the boarder

You simply go down... by your boat... make sure you have the title/registration papers for the boat and trailer... and a bill of sale.... then when you get to the border... you will pay the pst/gst on the canadian equivalent on both the boat and trailer. To officially register the trailer in Canada... you will have to get the trailer inspected and then you will get it registered and then insured... and you are good to go... what and where are you getting it from?

Like Kyle said but also if you can get a NAFTA or a Certificate of Origin form filled out from the manufacturer, there would be no duties.
If the trailer is older, make sure there are 17 digits in the serial number.
Make sure the bill of sale has a separate value for the boat and trailer.
