So are the Plates for the D2 for the non slingshot boards a little wide?

They are 8" inch plates, while most companies went to 6" hole boards by '09. This just means your limited to one, maybe two stances and if you mount all the way to the outside, you will be losing 1" off your stance.

so i just got a 09 S4 liquid force. so do you know if i can get the 6" plates for the 08 bindings

yeah i will give them a call tomorrow.. boarders mall has them for cheap online but still for the cost on slingshot.com you cant beat it
