irishrider92 09-12-2011 10:08 AM

Anyone who says the water's too hot wanna change homes with me? Its about 60 air and lake here now and while waiting for my new winter wetsuit I'm stuck using a hammer 2:1 shorty

kamighazi 09-12-2011 12:38 PM

Brian, the water really does get close to 'too hot', lots of folks b*tch about it. Last summer in our local river, its pretty shallow, got so hot you really did not want to fall b/c the hot water would actually wear you out. You get all red faced and cant catch your breath, it sucks. Mid day in July the water is probably hotter than the 90 degree air.
