Who knows whats different on this board from the 06, or more so from the 05? I actually never got a chance to ride the 06. <BR> <BR>I generally prefer the 03 absolute/06 pure shape.....but CWB didnt have any left for me so I know have one of the "reinforced" absolutes on the way, anyone know how this board rides and how much heavier the reinforced boards are?

the 06 bottom shape and characteristics are the same as the 05 ..the only difference is the top sheet was carved out a bit more ,most noticeably on the tip and tail which may have reduced the swing weight a bit but i didnt notive the difference between the two..

I have the 07 headed my way, any difference from the 06?

the top of the ends are shaped a little different, but the bottom is the same as the 05 &amp; 06. BTW, I'm glad you are giving CWB another chance...

^^^^^^ amen! <BR> <BR>I was talking to the rep and he said they had done some more work with the layup of the glass. Basically they were adding more directional glass near the tip/tail to get it to rebound like crazy. Should tweak the pop a little but other than that the boards are identical. There was a subtle outline change from 05 to 06 as well as the top deck changes but for this year they are identical. I feel the rails are thinner on the 06/07 than the 05 too but thats just me.

I would say about a pound maybe a pound and a half.

Yeah, it's a fair amount heavier, but Allen thought it popped harder when he first got his. It is significantly stronger. You may/maynot even notice the difference when you're riding. <BR> <BR>As far as the regular '06 to '07 (non-reinforced) I couldn't tell the difference in the way they ride, though what Stephen said is right. They are tweaking the flex pattern of the boards for '07
