I’m looking to purchase a 2006 Toyota 4Runner V8. Does anyone out there own one and tow their boats with one? If so, how does it do and how much does your boat & trailer weigh?

Ryan, are you wanting a SUV or V8 with some room.
I have a Tundra with TRD option and it has a great room. I used to own 02 4runner V6. I loved it, but i needed little more power and I love my Tundra.
If you like, ypu are more than welcome to come with us to the lake sometimes and check it out. I have 03 Malibu VLX. It tows like a champ. So 4runner V8 should do good also.

I bought the 2006 Tacoma quad cab TRD with 6 speed and pulls my 20 footer runabout with no effort. THe 4Runner will pull fine, it does have a shorter wheelbase which makes "walking" more of an issue if you have a lot of hills. Otherwise, it should be fine!

My dad has a Tundra that we don't really tow with but it is a rocket ship. We use the Sequoia to tow and it has no problem towing. I'm hoping to get a Tundra soon. We like the Toyota Trucks.
