Ronix One Handle

I've had the 2012 Ronix One handle for a full season and just recently started paying attention to the position of the palm pads. My pads have always faced down and never really make contact with your palms.

I'm not sure if I really care or if they make any sort of difference but what has become irritating as the weather has gotten colder is the position of the stitching on the handle. The stitching is not very comfortable on your hands as it hits either on your palm or your callus'.

While on the boat last, I removed the 2 Allen screws on the sides and tried to twist the handle but it wouldn't turn.

I didn't mess with it for long and surely it can be repositioned. Has anyone messed with it or noticed that their One handle is twisted?

It is not the handle tube that has rotated, but actually the cover. You cannot rotate the bar because the plugs on the end are square. I have had this handle for 3 years now and really like it because you can replace the grips--it is time for a new grip. The best route is to go down to M2. They have several different styles to choose from for $20.00. I replace mine every season.

When you do need to take the caps off, Remove the allen bolts completely and spray a little WD-40 down the hole. You need to pull the plugs straight out. I use a flat-head screwdriver between the plastic end-cap and the aluminum tube to get it started.
