A quick search on MalibuCrew showed rumor of shipments starting in October and yielded the image above. No, you cannot see further pics in iSpec at this time.

Hopefully it is just an illusion but the cabin on the 24 looks about the same size as the VLX...

I really dig the way it looks (mxz) but don't think I've ever wished for more people sitting in my bow.

polarbill 08-16-2012 2:48 PM

Well, I think I have heard people say the VLX has the same or more room in the cockpit then the 22 MXZ. I wouldnt' at all be surprised if the VLX had a slightly smaller cockpit of the 24 MXZ and the 23LSV had a slightly larger cockpit then the MXZ. That said I am guessing it just looks like that in the boat builder.

ktrent 08-16-2012 3:25 PM

the 22 mxz is close to the vlx in cockpit room. i hope the 24 mxz is close to the 23 lsv. i feel the 24 lsv is a touch too big in the cockpit. my guess is the image above has just been resized from the 22.

can't wait to see it. anyone hear any rumors of cost yet. i know it will list over 100 but i would like to know out the door price.

they need to get the 24 mxz the same cockpit as the lsv, just stretch and widen the bow :) Done deal

If it was me designing the boat that is exactly what I would do. In fact I would use the exact same hull and everything else from teh windshield back. Literally the only thing I would change is the bow.

98k with 6.0L with all of the goodies on a boatmate trailer

factorykitted 08-17-2012 5:18 PM

its 2 feet longer than the 22mxz behind the windshield...

ktrent 08-18-2012 9:30 AM

thanks brian. have you ordered one? or do you work and dealer/factory. 0ver 10 grand for 2 feet is pretty steep. i was hoping for low 90s.

timmyb 08-18-2012 9:46 AM

That looks to be same image for the 22' and the 24'.

247 looks way bigger inside. i saw one in person on lake travis. we all agreed it was not very good looking

That isn't a bad price at all for a 24' boat.

Nope, im still on the fence. The more i think about it i dont really need 24, we'll see... Its either 22 or 24 MXZ . Keep in mind that price is with surf gate option which is $3k...

bruizza 08-18-2012 11:48 AM

You didn't really "need" 4 XXX subs in your LSV but you did it anyways lol. I say go with the 24 footer!

factorykitted 08-18-2012 3:09 PM

True... Next boat might getting four 15's and I think the 24 would be perfect fit.
