I'm stoked cause I'm driving from Utah to Tahoe tomorrow to pick up a used ps 205. From there I'm driving down to Rocklin/folsom area for about a week. I believe I might die if I don't get to try it out. Is there anyway to get a temporary registration for CA?

I want to ride but I would prefer not getting a ticket....Or should I just risk it and try to talk my way out of one if I get pulled over by a ranger?

as long as the boat is registered, I believe you have no issues. I think (I could be wrong) you have 30 days before you need to register within california. If you had to register that would suck for the people traveling on vacation. You should be fine.

I believe that the current registration is CA, but its expired.

I think if you have a bill of sale. And you are from Utah
then you are ok. You reside in Utah so the boat will be registered there. And not California you should be ok. there is a time period to get things done.

side note ... get your insurance to fax you a card to prove its insured..

(Message edited by technarider on April 18, 2007)

(Message edited by technarider on April 18, 2007)
