they have been around for a while, i used to race BMX and they had a pretty big clothing line back in like 97, but i hadnt seen them again since now, but i do like it.

maverick_gear 01-28-2004 7:00 PM

ya, i haven't seen there whole line yet even, they have a 72 page catalog i guess and the website doesn't do it justice at all, im gonna look at some of there new stuff and maybe post some pics when it get here. i talked to some people there and they are way cool. reed loves them same with charlie and lindsey....

mav i used to ride for em in the 80's in bmx, i think they are liked becuase they support the sport from within . No huge add compaign no over exposure, you know what i mean?
ITCH
GB

For sure, they have a bunch of gear...most of it's pretty sweet.

jammeejamm 02-04-2004 3:30 PM

yeah, like itch and cory said. they were a pretty big supporter to bmx... brian foster and taj both rode for them i think. if i remember correctly, they were/are based in florida. so i guess getting into the wakeboarding scene was inevitable. it was cool because their shin guards were always my favorite, and my first numberplate was from them.

They Sponsor Kyle Schmidt, have for awhile. That guys cool. I don't know if I'm adding anything to this post so I'll leave now.

I used to own a bmx shop. Got to be real good friends with Ron, Dave, and a couple other guys that worked there. They may not have the flashiest stuff or whatever, but they have some real cool designs. Not to mention, they have always had a lot of grassroots kinda stuff going on. Ya gotta support the people who support the sport. Later.

Nice, this company is making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...

solo 02-09-2004 11:27 AM

A number of riders in our sport are sponsored by UGP, Charley Patterson, Drew McGuckin, Aaron Reed off the top of my head.

P/S I have a bunch of their cargo shorts, board shorts, T's and hats. Their stuff is pretty cool.
