Binding placement

I have the 12' Ronix parks setup. I usually ride with the boots all the way out and about 15 degrees. However, I coming off a femur injury and lately, I feel like it puts strain on my legs. I also feel like my pop sucks now.

Basically what Im asking is, beside comfort, what does you width of your stance change as far as board control and landings etc.

I know its a dumb question but I always get too excited to change my board setup when Im out there. I usually just leave it as it is.

A wider stance will generally be more stable. This is obviously subject to comfort and reason.

Depends on your size to board size.. I had a 142 CWB Vibe that I couldn't ride all the way out on bc i was only 5'9.. I pulled it out the quiver awhile back and put them all the way out at 6' and it was better.. I would say as wide as you can comfortably..

Also a wider stance will help with stability on water.. Sketchy landings off kickers.. On rails.. and with a wider stance on your board it will keep all the pop between your legs which should give you the most out of your board.. Maybe the femur injury just knocked you off your game a bit.. Get back out and give it hell man!!
