Thought I would share some pics of my new LED lights that Texas Ski Ranch put on for me. The pictures do not really do it justice, but a cell phone was all I had on me. They did a great job.

Looks sweet! I'm sure it looks even cooler in person!

Who installed the LEDs on your swim platform?

kskonn 02-17-2012 11:37 AM

Texas Ski ranch did, that is the one part that looks very different in person than on the picture.

Thats BS you are able to be out on the water in Feb.

kskonn 02-17-2012 12:06 PM

Yea it was 80 the other day with a water temp of 62. A little cold by my standards but was able to get in a set.

I believe they went with Wildcat lighting out of texas. They sell strips of Leds and then Ski Ranch created the mounting brackets etc... From what I could tell it appeared to be about 20 individual led lights.

I would be sweet if you could post up a pic of the transom light with the boat out of the water (light off of course so you don't see spots for hours...lol)

kskonn 02-17-2012 12:46 PM

I will see if I can make that happen, boat is on my lift right now but I should be able to get a picture.

The speakers looks sweet too; I'd like to know what they used illuminate them as well!

Sweet setup! What type of wetsounds subs are you running? Are they free air's or are they in a custom box and the grills are the vents?

I am running the 10" Free airs. I was skeptical at first I have always been a box guy. With a number of assurances I took the plunge and it has been the best stereo decision I have ever made. They Sound unbelievable. You get a great full sound and most importantly they do not drop at all on the low side. Probably the best free air sub I have ever heard. No storage loss etc... could not be be happier.

From what I could tell they made their own mounting brackets that mounted to the center of the speaker grill facing back towards the speakers. That is how they got the glowing effect on the speakers. They really put a lot of time and detail into the project.

I was told they had about 6-8 hours into fabbing all the mounting brackets and another 20 in install.

Hears to good dealer service departments that take pride in the work they put out!
