Here is a cheap easy way to help shed water off your boat cover in the rainy season. I took 3/4 PVC tee's and used a sander to remove material (at and angle, see picture) so the top of the tee could snap onto the hand rail inside the boat. Be sure to cut them so the pipe will bow up to the cover and not down or straight across. I made 4 of them. Then I proceeded to cut a piece of 3/4 PVC pipe to correct length for my beam so it would bow up into the cover. It has worked great! Give it a try. Nice, that method works good on soft tops as well for all you other jeep owners.

I like that idea. I have a simalar one. I have 1" PVC that has a vertical pole in the back and next to the driver seat with Ts on the bottom. The front and back are connected about 42 inches off the floor and over the motorbox if you can imagine. I dont have a pic but I think you get the point. They are only glued in straight sections so i can disassemble it and store it in the ski locker. Works mint.

Smart idea but the cover that was built for my V215 never pools up water so long as I pull it tight.

Nice. I used to do this with my 205 years ago. Worked damn good. <BR> <BR>One problem we'd have with the 3 snap on poles..... if it ever pooled up, then the cover would collapse anyway, and punch holes in the cover where the snaps were. <BR> <BR>One problem I had..... I had a black cover. It would get so hot under the cover that the PVC would warp. If it ever rained on a hot day, the whole thing would collapse. <BR> <BR>About the only thing that is 100% effective is a garage. Otherwise I had to check things every day or two.

No snap in polls. I only need to use these poles from November til April maybe May. It does not get that hot under my cover. No warping issue. They can get brittle thought. But the pipe is cheap. I would love a cover that you just pull tight, but my was not made the well I guess. My cover doesn't see days hotter than 80 when I use them. I am in SJ California by the way.

dave i def like the pipe config. you made. <BR>there is a spray im not sure what its called but its basically like rainex for boat covers. ill try to stop by the marina tomorow and get the name for you.
