Shane, they are on tour, but with the talent now, it is sooooo hard to make a heat. It used to be the top guys would automatically make it out of qualifiers but now that is not the case. Every heat is hard, and it just gets harder and harder.
|
Look at these heats. Just making it out of this round is DAMN impressive. As early as 2 years ago, you didn't have to throw your "good" run in qualifiers. You could just take it easy, and advance through. Now you need to come out of the gates swinging where you almost have to throw your best run first and then you can actually tone it down a bit after you get out of the qualifier run. What I find interesting is that the best trick award always comes off the air force kicker but when you watch the final runs, I don't even see the kicker yet alone people hitting it. Do they take the kicker out of the water and are they hitting it in their runs or is it a physical best trick contest off of the kicker that is held separately?

Pro Men Qualifier (top two in each heat advance)

Heat #1
1.
