What exactly is a half cab on the INT novice list?
I'm guessing it is getting air (1 wake) fakie.
Is that correct?

Actually, a half cab is, like a lot of wake moves, an old skate term. Coined after Steve Caballero and his patented switch frontside 3's. A half cab, therefore, is a switch frontside 180, or half a cabellero.

That definition is incorrect because it would include switch backside 180's. Peace.

A half cab is a switch 180 one or two wakes.
foe.. example if you do a healside 180,
you will be riding switch ,then you 180 back over the wake.it can be heelside or toeside

(Message edited by hypo303 on June 23, 2005)

once again, a switch backside 180 is NOT a half cab.

I think you're right about heel v. toe, though. Hadn't thought about a toe frontside 180 being a half cab, but I think you're right.
