Southern Surfest - Atlanta
 

We are officially opening up registration for the Southern Surfest to be held in Atlanta at Lake Lanier the weekend of May 2nd. We have several board/boat companies lined up for you to try and we have added some pro riders to our event who will offer clinics the Friday before the event and will be present on the boats to provide riding tips/pointers... it promises to be a blast. We are pleased to announce that Sean Cummings will be joining as a pro rider at our event!! One feature that makes the Southern Surfest unique is that we will have pro riders present on the boats during the Saturday and Sunday event to provide rider tips and pointers… this is part of your event fee and will provide the opportunity to sharpen your surfing skills and get some good quality time with the pros to pick their brain on any topic you want to discuss. You will also have the opportunity to schedule one on one lesson time on Friday prior to the event as our pros will be holding clinics all day (for a reasonable fee). The pros that are coming enjoy teaching others surfing techniques and are some of the top riders in the sport. Don’t worry they are not here to judge you!, they are here help all of us have even more fun together. Sean is a proven competitor landing on many podiums in numerous competitions over the years plus a talented wakesurf coach. We are providing regular updates via our Facebook page and website.

Good news on Southern Surfest.... we have expanded the number of riders to 40 due to the increase interest from boat dealers to participate.... we have 8 boats participating so we can handle more riders because of this... max riders per boat is 5 so everyone gets 15 minutes riding time on each boat. if you have not visited our website it is www.southernsurfest.com If you have been on the fence to sign up now would be a good time to do so as the slots have been going fast. Our pro lineup is now Sean Cummings, Ellis/Jacquie Fort and Trevor Miller as our pro riders for our event. The function of the pro riders is to provide lessons on Friday prior to the event and they will be present on the boats to give riders insight and riding pointers during the event so everyone can increase the fun!!
