I am looking to get a new board this year. Currently im riding an 06 obrien valhalla. My buddy has an 03 belmont dna i rode the other day. I really liked the way it rode. <BR> <BR>Do the new Murrays ride like the old ones? It felt fast and light. Good pop.

I rode the 03 belmont till now and recently got a 3 stage rocker board. No comparison on pop. Get one, be happy.

The new Murray shape is way different than the 03 Belmont. It is has traded the fast and light feeling for more abrupt pop and consequently a slow plowing ride. <BR> <BR>I would recommend the LF Witness, or HL Tribute. The Witness is a hybrid so it is a little bit slower than a continuous, but the Tribute is an absolute rocket.

My cousin has an 08 witness 136 i rode yesterday. Felt a a lot like my Valhalla.

I forgot to mention the Ronix Bill/Arcade. You should try that out as well.

THE TRIBUTE IS THE CLOSEST OUT THERE AND IMO A MUCH BETTER BOARD. STICK WITH HYP. YOU CANT GO WRONG.

The HL Motive is the same as the Belmont. Same mold, just re-named. They may have changed the fins, but the shape is the same. Not sure if they still made the motive after 2007 though, but you should be able to find one on e-bay or something.

The motive was most recently made in 08 so it shouldn't be hard to find one.

I went from an 03 Belmont to an 07 Trip...Both very smooth rides.
