What boat is making the goofy wake?

priszkid 06-21-2013 9:29 AM

Dude- that's sweet! Looks like good times!!!

The goofy wave is an SV244. The regular is an SV233 (I believe). The SV244 was running stock ballast with an additional 500 pounds of lead. I believe 300 pounds were under the rear compartment bag, and then 200 was under the seats under the Pro ballast bag.

Definitely want to try that. Looks like good times. By the way, how close were the boats side-by-side? 10ft?

LKASurfing 06-21-2013 11:58 AM

Carzin is correct on the boats the SV233 was stock -500lbs!!! (Actually found out my Quick fill wasn't working)

I'd say 10-12ft is about right on distance of the boats!

It is tricky to do and also tricky to ride in but I was able to go back & forth between the two pretty well! Cannot wait to do it again!

How did you figure out the quick fill?

LKASurfing 06-21-2013 4:37 PM

Just happen to put on the trailer with out emptying....threw the switches to empty...nothing port side...next day tried again with same result. could hear some water in tank when trailering through neighborhood. Opened manually with allen wrench....out came pink antifreeze!....Hadn't worked all season!

That 244 goofy wave looks so clean. Is it standard LH rotation or optional RH rotation for goofy riders?

CarZin 06-22-2013 5:25 PM

It is right hand rotation.
