I think the Catholic church has been pretty clear on this issue: they prefer an all male team. And no switch-hitters allowed.

"Our Lady of Sorrows" ... ain't that the truth. Bunch of bassackward kooks if you ask me. Personally I don't care who plays on a sports team, they can run their league however they want.

Our Lady of Sorrows is run by the U.S. branch of the Society of Saint Pius X, a group of conservative, traditionalist priests who disagree with the reforms of the Vatican II Council in the 1960s and broke with the Catholic Church in the 1980s.

This quote is at the end of the article:

Then maybe they should have completed it rather than quit due to some outdated back-assward beliefs.
