handle - rope repair
 

SSSSOOOO, I ran over my buddy's rope/handle last weekend. (first time in my LONG career in & around boats!!) We had to cut the rope & leader off the handle to free it.

unfortinitaly I can not find the handle (07 Ronix Totem) to replace it. Is there a way to re-string the handle?

Also, I remember my uncle repairing ropes before (by weaving them back together), is that possible with the new style wakeboard ropes??

There is a web site called something like "animated knots.com" that I think shows how to splice a bunch of different rope materials. You could buy a length of Dacron and get a fid no problem. the dacron is zero stretch, strong as heck and comes in snazzy colors. Its on bulk reels in Worst Marine.
