Anybody riding this board, please post a review.

I've been riding the Axis for the past two years. I really like the board. It's fast, but not quite as fast as the Shane. It has good, consistent pop. Being that it has 4 molded fins on each side the board is loose when it's flat on the water, but it holds it's edge well when cutting into the wake. It's pretty wide and has a decent spine for soft landings. You won't go wrong buying it.

I rode the axis over the summer and it comes into the wake real fast for a good pop while landing somewhat smooth. It edges real well too without losing speed, its a nice board and im most likely gonna end up riding it again this year

If you like fast boards and less rocker go for it. Way out into the flats, edges are more aggressive too. Personally it was way too fast for me. I used to ride the Trip. Now I ride the Watson.

thanks. does less rocker create more distance? the watson has very little rocker and is "the" wake to wake board. <BR> <BR>i think i'm leaning towards the shane...i prefer a wake to wake ride most of the time. the watson pops great but is too wide and tracks too solid for me.

Yes more rocker means faster ride and more <BR>'out', less 'up'. Watson is opposite. Something like the Lyman or Soven are more in between. <BR> <BR>Shane is a great board but not for everyone. It's pretty aggressive and the rails are real sharp. Not as forgiving. I like it, but it was a demanding board. Watson is laid back. <BR> <BR>If the Watson tracks too solid I would lose the middle fins. If it's too wide and slow (from the rocker) then try the Soven or Lyman. <BR> <BR>Can you demo? Pretty much essential. Call around and ask all the local shops. They should let you demo for $40 a weekend, and the money should go into a folder for you to apply to your purchase once you decide. Demo board should cost around $320.

i have the axis. rode it a couple times and put it in the garage.. dont care for it. it tracks really well .. if you land a little squirly on your inverts it will pull you strait real quick and loved that but i couldnt get a consistant pop off of it.... my opinion
