Moving to Folsom, CA
 

Ok, who else here lives in Folsom? I have been in Sacramento ten years, the last 3 of which have been in Elk Grove. We sold our house in Elk Grove and bought in Folsom all on the same day. We bought in Briggs Ranch, which is right at the the base of Folsom Point. I cant wait to be 1/2 mile from launching my boat in the summer. Hopefully some water fills the lake!

I'm in orangevale, bout 12 mins from the lake. Definitely gonna be screwed this year with the lake of water

Bummer. You just increased your wakeboarding commute by 30 minutes if you want to stay in the river/delta. Folsom is a great community though. Almost made that move before the bubble 8 years ago. Glad on one hand, sad on the other. Cool mall, theatres, restaurants..... Overall sweet place to live. I just hate Folsom lake for all the reasons I'm sure you know about already.

I live in Fair Oaks right down the street, can be on the lake in 10-15 min, although we only ride folsom lake early morning mid week.
