Good Boat Speakers
I just got an Axis A20 and I want to crank some tunes on it, but the stock speakers aren't quite good enough... which speakers bump the loudest?! please include price if you can, Thanks!

i just picked up some infinity 610m's from amazon for 70 bucks a pair... for the price i dont think you can beat that sound they put out.

what speakers are in there now? to move to better sound chances are you need to amp the existing speakers (or to take advantage of the new ones you get) as the head unit will only give a minimal wattage to each. I have terrible speakers that ill replace once they are toast but when amped with 70 watts each they sound gorgeous.

Depending on what year and what stereo package u got all u may need to do is grab an amp. On the lesser optioned Axis boats there is no amp on the speakers. They are wired directly to the head unit. So just adding an amp will boost your stock speakers. I believe they are Alpines correct? They are a pretty decent middle road speaker. If you do have an amp make sure the settings are all good. Like gains, crossovers, frequencies .
Boat mfg just throw stereo gear in their boats. Really never set it up to optimize the sounds. First things first. Post exacy what you have model wise speakers and amp if there is one. Then we can give you much better advice. You build a system from the ground up. So lets make sure what you ready have is installed correctly before we start gutting it |

I have this amp, wired 6 speakers to channels 1/2 and my sub bridged on 3/4. The amp is 1 ohm stable. I have the same Alpine Marine 6 1/2's and this set up sounds amazing especially for the price. You can find that amp for even cheaper on sonicelectronix.com or onlinecarstereo.com. No, i won't sound like a high budget system but for the money, it definitely worth it. You will be surprised on what the speakers will do when you give them some power. |
