Boston Acoustics GT-50 amp problem...

I've got a Boston Acoustics GT-50 5 channel amp that started making/causing a LOUD hum. The hum won't go away with a change in volume. I used to be able to make it stop by wiggling the front input wires at the amp, but now that doesn't work. I can get it to stop if I turn the Highpass off, but then everything sounds like crap...I've got a Sony HU and a HSE volume control. Nothing fancy...

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Bad RCA's?

Ok, so I swapped RCAs and it didn't help... I pulled the amp to see if I could find a bad solder, the problem is I can't get to the underside of the board because of all the damn clips holding it to the heatsink! Anyone know how to remove the clips??? It almost seems like you need a special tool that would allow you to lift all the clips at the same time and then slide the board out the side...

The RCA input with the yellow circle is the one I'm having trouble with. I figured that the amp is already bad, so I can't make it any worse...

Thanks.

The switches on the preamp section used to fail. Boston used to use a repair center in Iowa I think. If you call them on Tuesday they will probably give you their contact info.

Cheers
