Sounds like a good bill to me
|
More communist regulation violating people's rights. We need less government and fewer laws, not more. This is a terrible bill brought about by socialists who wish to force their will, morals, and way of life on others.
|
Thats great. Creating law out of anger and contempt. No doubt wake77 is on board.
|
Sounds like a B.S. bill to me. If a guy wants this pill and his doctor determines he doesn't have heart or health problems that might make it dangerous, let him try it. We don't need these fricking nannies holding our hands for every step we make.
|
I suppose in retrospect I shouldn't have taken Jeremy's flamebait. I usually don't reply to this troll and probably should have this time.
|
So why is it okay for us to regulate women's reproductive health and not men's?
Cory, I have double the amount of posts you have on this forum. How does that make me a "troll"? |
Make that triple.
|
I hear the best cure for ED is a new woman.
|
Obviously an attact against anti-abortion bills and I understand the point she is trying to make, but IMHO instead OVER REGULATING medicines, a more constuctive effort could be spent on other domestic issues like the economy, for example, and the debt crisis.
|
^I agree 100% Ron (and how often have I ever said that?).

I look forward to the day that we are all implanted with a microchip that will report a variety of readings to big brother
We can then be monitored as to how much salt we intake, how much alccohol, sugar, trans fats....etc. Perhaps it will even monitor have fast we travel, or if we exceed some limit to a sports move based on our ratio of muscularity:height: weight.... only then will I personally feel comfort in knowing that I am truly protected from myself OH BROTHER! |

"Firstly you're a troll because you resort to personal attacks"
Okay Cory. Who called who a troll? Did I even mention your name or any sort of personal attack? Isn't calling someone a troll a personal attack? "do not back up your unsupported and provocative comments with facts or logical argument." Oh, you mean like your arguments proclaiming, and I am quoting you, "DUI is a victimless crime"? Seems like you need to look up the definition of logic. And I doubt few if anyone on here will agree with MOST of your kooky beliefs. Now call that a personal attack if you choose, but deep down, you know it's true. |
And for those who want to read about Cory's views on DUI's, have at it

Jeremy, you're trolling again and attacking a person instead of intelligently discussing ideas... Prime behavior of a troll.
Care to explain why you think this is a good bill? Why is it good to infringe on people's freedom in the way this bill would? |
When is the rest of the population gonna wake up? 90% of the laws on the books are not needed. The wheels of government are spinning to fast, and no one can stop them with popping them. I can't think of one law that a break, but I'm sick of our government over regulating what I can and cant do.
|
"Care to explain why you think this is a good bill? Why is it good to infringe on people's freedom in the way this bill would?"
Cory, have you seen what is going on around the country? What about Ohio? I think it is good to expose hypocrisy, and leave men and women's health alone. If a woman wants to have an abortion, that is her prerogative and some politician shouldn't be able to interfere. I think if you have a bunch of men wanting to tell women what and what not to do with a woman's body, then it is only fair that women should be able to tell men the same. So if it is good to infringe on women's freedom (last time I checked, abortion is legal), then it is good to infringe on men's freedom. There. Are you happy now? Am I no longer a troll? Have I met Cory's criteria to be a good poster? Jesus man, I didn't know you were the king of the forum. |
Should I post pictures of what abortions are allowed and then we can discuss which ones are considered murder or not?

“Texas’s HB-15 isn’t hard to explain: The bill says that in order for a woman to obtain a perfectly legal medical procedure, she is first compelled by law to endure a vaginal probe with a hard, plastic 10-inch wand. The World Health Organization defines rape as ‘physically forced or otherwise coerced penetration — even if slight — of the vulva or anus, using a penis, other body parts or an object.’ You tell me the difference,” Trudeau said in the interview.

This is a prime example of why I believe you are a troll... Our resident troll. I'm sure you're getting a kick out of baiting me into this one, so enjoy. |
I agree that passing a bill solely as "revenge" for an existing law is unethical and illogical. But, proposing a bill to bring direct attention to a horrible law that has no place being on the books is a brilliant strategy and deserves praise.
I doubt very much that she ever expected the bill to bill to be taken seriously. |
It's an obvious point.... Viagra in most cases is no more medically necessary than contraception. If you are an old dude and can't get it up then you need to talk to God and ask him why that's normal and not an illness.
|
I'm still trippin on this Texas law... People get pissed about obamacare, saying it is an invasion - and respond by creating a law forcing women to get a probe up their vag? Talk about Talibanization of America
|
"So you think this is a good law because it's revenge or getting back at men for what they do to women? That's absurd, it shows a complete lack of logical or reasonable thought and inability to advocate an idea based on its own merit."
What's not reasonable about it? Do you think this bill would exist if men would leave women's health issues alone? There is nothing "illogical" about that line of thinking. |
