If he is riding at 90 foot and 23mph it must be a narrow wake. X-1, SAN or V210. <BR> <BR>With the square lip it looks like a V210 to me.

Doubt its a MC. 90' is a long way back at 23mph for a any MC. <BR> <BR>My guess is SAN.

90 ft dang. i remember when randy used to ride that long but he would go 28 or 29 miles an hour. that wake has to be a new vlx with the speedo alittle off runnin the wedge.

that lip looks like a supra lip for sure but I am not convinced... Ive been 75 feet back at 22 though on a 22ssv, with stock ballast (not gg bags) is it possible that is only 23mph and 2k+ weight??? <BR>Not sure if its possible to run an X-2 at 23 to 90 ft, it would be one hell of a wide wake no? at 90' behind my X2 you would have to ride at about 25+, unless you wanted to hit some wash. And I run about 2400 lbs.

thinking more about what i posted here's some updates. i'll edit my original post to reflect the changes for anyone reading the thread for the first time... <BR> <BR>speet set at 23.4 mph. <BR>between ~1200lbs and ~1500lbs added in the form of fat sacks. definitely not more than 1500lbs. i forgot about the added bow sack in my original post. my apologies. <BR> <BR>i'll see if i can find more pics to post.

It must be a magenta Mastercraft 2001. Definitely magenta... I can tell the color of the boat by the way the wake curls at about 105 ft off. There are so many variations that can change the wake... nothing but luck can guess the boat by the wake.

how about Centurian Avalanche, resembles the shape pretty closely if I do say so, Centurian wake is clean at 22 at 75... still not sure if I could ride at 90 at 23.4 on an Avalanche though... Im pretty sure you could ride at 90 at 23.4 behind an Nauti 2001 but that boat has no stock ballast sooo maybe an Airnautique

The thing I like about the wake is it appears versatile; meaning if someone is B!tching about too rampy let the rope out, if someone complains about too much vert, bring em in. Either way they are still around 80+ feet out so their feelings dont get hurt, lol. <BR> <BR>I am currently debating purchasing a boat after my graduation and I have been doing a ton of research on used boats, curious to see what this is, and if I can afford it? <BR>

I'm with Joe. Epic 23V <BR> <BR>I believe that a SAN with stock + 1200lbs has a larger wake... But it's as rampy as a SAN. So a Sanger V210 or an Epic in my opinion.

kyle you can go F yourself! you knew what boat it was in the first place. you win nothing. haha <BR> <BR>here's a shot of the dash. i was quite impressed and happy with it because there is a ton of information and it was arranged very nicely. left gauge is RPM with digital readout of the vital engine info (oil pressure, battery volts and hour meter). the three smaller middle gauges are fuel, engine temp and power wedge angle. the right gauge is speedo with digital readout of the water/air information (water depth, air temp and water temp). driving one of these for the first time was sick. the digital readout on top toggles between the ballast and the cruise control. the cruise never went more than a mph lower than the set speed when i was turning (though i never drove any double ups). me likey a lot! <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/262318.jpg" alt="">

I love that boat. I have never even been inside an actual wake boat, let alone ride behind one, but i am in love with the malibu lsv. I would buy one just for the looks of the tower alone.

Why would you need PP, if you have Malibu Cruise Control? IMO the Malibu system on my Uncle's '06 VLX is by far superior.

Also, I just remembered that all the Malibu's are now "throttle by wire," meaning that there is no cable, which is why malibu and MC had to come up with their own systems, and were able to get around PP's patent.

Malibu Cruise is now done by Precision Pro......I highly recommend it. <BR> <BR>Easy to use <BR>Bright large display <BR>no more over compensating on speed....

That boat has nice lines. I have read several good things about that boat and it does look pretty tight, but orange? I guess your just in time for halloween!

Only problem I've seen with the Malibu Cruies is it would reset when the engine was turned off. <BR>So we had to turn the cruise back on each time the key was turned off to change riders and whatnot.

Shawn I rather set it once in neutral then having to turn it on everytime a different rider goes in the water.Most of the time I don't even turn my PP off at all,so it always ready to go.

It sounds like they have the power wired wrong. That should be easy to correct. A reset every time the engine is turned off would be a major bummer for those of us (most of us) that turn the boat off whenever we change riders.

I agree it sucks to have to turn it on everytime, but all it comes down to pushing one button right in front of you on the dash. <BR> <BR>What I'm really trying to say is that, sometimes I'll forget to turn my PP on, start to pull a rider then have to stop, or wait until the rider falls to turn the PP back on. So therefore I like the fact that the boat doesn't have to be in neutral to turn on the Malibu Cruise.
